The First Trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is out and it spells dark times for Captain Jack Sparrow
Captain Jack Sparrow does not appear in the first teaser trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, but that does not stop him from being at its center. The fifth movie in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Joachim Rønning. And while the notorious pirate captain of “The Black Pearl” does not make an appearance in the teaser trailer, it doesn’t stop him from being at its center.
The movie is scheduled to hit theatres on May 26, 2017, and from the looks of it, it seems like Captain Sparrow will do in the movie what he does best – get into trouble and confront old enemies he has accumulated over the years. This time, it is Captain Salazar (beautifully played by Javier Bardem), who appears straight out of your nightmares.
On team Depp, which will be returning to his sailor’s boots and Captain’s hat, Orlando Bloom and Geoffrey Rush, who were also in the first movie, will also be returning.
